In addition to the endless support given by our dedicated and friendly team of tutors and careers and pro bono staff to make sure you have a successful legal career, there are numerous student clubs, societies, events and discounts on offer to ensure you have some fun whilst you are working towards your goal. Preparing you for practice

There are various initiatives in place at BPP Law School, Manchester designed to help you get a training contract and prepare you for your future career as a solicitor.

If you are a GDL student you can take part in our work experience scheme. This includes a programme of activities, such as a commercial awareness workshop, pro bono work, a one day or more placement at a law firm and various legal career talks. In today's competitive market this kind of experience looks outstanding on your CV and will help you secure a training contract.

Or if you are an LPC student without a training contract you can join our Access to Practice scheme in which we match you with a legal practitioner who can offer advice and encouragement on securing a training contract.

High Street Extra

New for September 2010, we will be offering the High Street Extra at BPP Law School in Manchester. This is an optional programme for LPC students, completely free of charge, on the areas of practice that are key to High Street or small firms that provide general legal services to individuals and local businesses. Manchester Professional Advisory Panel

In Manchester we consult with local law firms and legal organisations on our Professional Advisory Panel to ensure that our programmes, support and resources we offer are of the highest standard and relevant to practice. This ensures that we provide what is expected by the legal profession, and more.
