BPP Law School appoints Sarah Macdonald as first Associate Dean

BPP Law School announces today the appointment of Sarah Macdonald as its new Associate Dean.

Sarah Macdonald, who will start at BPP in the autumn term of 2008, will report to Peter Crisp, Dean of BPP Law School and chief executive of BPP College of Professional Studies Limited. Sarah joins BPP from King’s Inns, Dublin where she is Dean of the Law School.

Peter Crisp said: “I am delighted that Sarah will be joining BPP Law School. She will be a real asset to the senior management team and brings with her a vast amount of experience managing legal education.”

The position has been created due to expansion of the Law School.

Biography for Sarah Macdonald
Sarah Macdonald was called to the Bar in 1994. From 1994 to 1997 Sarah was a barrister at Chambers of Rock Tansey QC (now 25 Bedford Row) and remained as a door tenant with the chambers when she joined the College of Law in 1997. At the College she was responsible for the design team for the Bar Vocational Course and was Director of the BVC. Since October 2003, Sarah has held the position of Dean of the Law School of the Honourable Society of Kings’ Inns, Dublin. She is a member of the Joint Academic Stage Board, member of Consortium for Education, Legal Training and Skills (CELTS) and external assessor for the Curriculum Review Committee, Queen’s University of Belfast, Institute of Legal Professional Studies. Sarah has worked on many international projects in countries including Cyprus, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil, Russia and Ukraine.
