BPP College appoints Colin Dworkin as first Director of Talent Development Programmes
BPP College of Professional Studies Limited announces today the appointment of Colin Dworkin as its new Director of Talent Development Programmes for professional service firms.
Colin Dworkin, who will start at BPP in July 2008, will work with those responsible for staff learning and development in law and other professional service firms, to offer programmes designed to develop the talent of their employees. He will launch and lead this newly created unit within BPP College.
Colin Dworkin said: “BPP is in a unique position in the talent development arena and is well placed to build an integrated framework of accredited management, business and leadership programmes which will deliver real value in the professional service firm market. Beginning his career as a solicitor in corporate and commercial practice, Colin left private practice in 1994 to take up a position teaching the LPC. He now joins BPP from Baker & McKenzie LLP in London where he was the Director of Learning and Development.

Biography for Colin Dworkin
Colin Dworkin first qualified as a solicitor and gained experience in corporate and commercial practice. He left private practice in 1994 to embark on a career in professional legal education. This has included teaching on the GDL and LPC programmes at BPP Law School where he worked from 1996 to 1998. Colin then joined Baker & McKenzie LLP in 1998 and is currently the Director of Learning and Development. In this role, Colin has acquired extensive experience in training needs analysis, as well as the design and implementation of legal, management and business L&D programmes
