Assessment
Assessment of the two modules are a mixture of:
- independent research papers (2,500 words)
- multiple choice tests
- oral assessment

There will be three sittings a year of each assessment, so you can select when to complete each one.
The overall grading will be based on the results of your GDL and two LLB modules. The main weighting will be in relation to the final three modules i.e. the Independent Research Essay, LLB module one and LLB module two.
The weighting will be as follows:
| Seven foundation subjects (covered in the GDL) | 40% |
| Independent Research Essay (covered in the GDL) | 20% |
| LLB module one | 20% |
| LLB module two | 20% |
| TOTAL | 100% |
The award of the LLB (Honours) will be graded as follows:
| 70% plus | 1st |
| 60% plus | 2:1 |
| 50% plus | 2:2 |
| 40% plus | 3rd |
