How is the programme taught?

You can study purely via distance learning, which means that you can commence the programme at any time. Alternatively, you can use a unique mix of online activities and face-to-face teaching, which takes place in London over two weeks in June and July:

  Dates tbc Dates tbc
10am - 12pm Intellectual Property Intellectual Property
2pm - 4pm Company Law Company Law

The modules are taught using different delivery methods including:

  • reading
  • online/face-to-face tutorials
  • online/face-to-face lectures
  • multiple-choice tests
  • independent research

The Legal Research and Analysis module is taught through a one day skills symposium followed by personal supervision from a designated research supervisor.

In addition, there will be resources available on Blackboard, our Virtual Learning Environment and an online discussion board, moderated by tutors every day. This means you can ask questions whenever you need assistance and you can see the questions and answers of other students.
