How is the programme taught?
BPP will support you in achieving the further learning outcomes required for the LLM (such as the ability to carry out independent and advanced research into areas of practice at the forefront of your chosen discipline and further developing your critical evaluation and analysis skills) by providing you with a compulsory Preparation and Planning Module.

After completing the Preparation and Planning Module you will write and submit two practice-based project proposals*. Once these proposals have been approved you will be allocated a supervisor and can start work on your practice-based projects .
Your supervisor will be available to advise you on your studies in face-to-face meetings or by telephone and email contact.
* Please note that you need to have successfully completed all LPC or BVC assessments before you can submit proposals for the practice-based proposals. If you are unsuccessful in any of these examinations you can defer your LLM in Professional Legal Practice to a later date.
