The LLM in Commercial Law offers you the unique opportunity to engage with issues that are of real and practical relevance to those who operate in today’s financial markets and are concerned with the legal and regulatory issues of tomorrow. The programme, while offering a broad spectrum of commercial law modules also allows for specialisation in new and dynamic issues such as Islamic Financial Law and the prevention and control of fraud and financial crime. Options will be led by some of the leading international experts in these fields and combine a unique blend of practical knowledge and application.

The LLM in Commercial Law is aimed at those intending to work in commercial law as:

  • law graduates intending to work in commercial law
  • barristers or solicitors in private practice or in-house lawyers who wish to specialise in or increase their knowledge of commercial law
  • those already in commercial practice who want a deeper understanding of this area of law
