To apply for the LPC or LPC stand alone electives you must meet the following minimum admissions requirements:

  • qualifying law degree (minimum lower second class honours), or
  • qualifying non-law degree (minimum lower second class honours) and GDL or CPE, or
  • similar qualification such as ILEX/FILEX

Priority is given to applicants who have placed BPP as their first choice.

The SRA requires that all LPC students are enrolled as student members before they start the LPC. Applicants who intend to become solicitors are advised to join the SRA as soon as possible. For further information please visit the SRA's website.

How do I apply?

Full-time Part-time Stand alone modules and electives

Applications for the full-time LPC in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London (Holborn and Waterloo) and Manchester starting in September 2010 should be made via the Central Applications Board (CAB).

We have limited places available at all locations starting September 2010. Apply today to avoid disappointment. Offers will be made subject to availability.

Places at BPP fill up quickly and you are advised to apply as early as possible.

To apply for the part-time LPC commencing September 2010, please download and complete an application form and return it to admissions.

We aim to process your application within one week of receipt.

Although there is no formal closing date for the receipt of applications, places on the part-time LPC fill up quickly, so early application is advised.
